Lakeview Hope Academy

Welcome to Lakeview Hope Academy! 

My name is Dr. Kylie Danielson, and I have had the honor of serving as the proud principal of Lakeview Hope Academy since 2021. We are a bright and diverse learning community located in the heart of Lakewood, Washington, . Our school name, Lakeview Hope Academy, is rooted in our Kids at Hope philosophy—the belief that all children are resilient, capable, smart, and have big dreams for their futures. It is our goal to find the strengths in all of our students and help them grow, 

At Lakeview Hope Academy, we serve over 550 incredible students and their families, representing a wide range of cultures, languages, and backgrounds. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to meet both the academic and social-emotional needs of every learner, and we take great pride in the inclusive, supportive environment we’ve built together. We are incredibly proud of the rich diversity of our student population at Lakeview Hope Academy. Our school is home to students from a wide range of cultures, backgrounds, and languages, and we celebrate the strength that comes from this diversity. Our school is also home to four Functional Academics classrooms, supporting our students with varying academic needs and skills. 

We offer a variety of rich and engaging programs to support all learners: 

• Daily specialist classes in PE, Library, or Fine Arts for every student
• A robust Multi-Lingual Learner (MLL) program that supports language development for qualifying students 
• Reading intervention services for students who qualify for additional literacy support 
• A strong special education program focused on inclusive practices that ensure every child has access to learning
